Recently 50 Cent spend $8.5 million on G- Unit Team. G-Unit is the label granted to 50 Cent by Interscope an American record label, owned by Universal Music Group and in 2003 50 Cent signed Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and Young Buck as the established members of G-Unit.

The reason he spent so much money on the G-Unit was so that they could be present with their entourage on his most recent tour.

But now 50Cent has decided to withdraw all forms of financial support from the G-Unit as he senses a lack of dedication from their part.

He displayed his anger at the team for not showing loyalty and revealed “I looked around the room, and I was the only person with G-Unit sneakers on. But they were being paid.

“It had become the norm for the cheque to come, but they were no longer wearing the clothes.”

The reason he was so angry with the team was because it was decided earlier that G-Unit as a team would sport the clothes designed by the G-Unit Clothing company so as to promote team unity.
He frankly spoke out to the team stating out “I broke it down. I told them I wouldn’t be assisting them financially anymore. Pretty much I was telling them I wouldn’t be there. Before they’d make a lot of money and spend a lot of money and have me there to fix it.”

Veteran rapper Master P has denied reports he is releasing his new album on the same day as 50 Cent’s in a bid to reignite a feud with the star. Master P recently branded 50 Cent - real name Curtis Jackson - “immature” for criticizing his decision to stop using racist and sexist language in his music.

However the hip-hop star - real name Percy Robert Miller - insists he is releasing new album Hip-Hop History on the same date - September 4th - as Jackson’s Curtis S.S.K. to give music fans “a freedom of choice.”

Miller tells MTV.com, “The date was not chosen to compete with Curtis Jackson’s delayed release, but rather to create balance in the marketplace and give kids a freedom of choice.”

Proceeds from the sales of Miller’s album will help to fund school scholarship programs in the U.S.

Rapper 50 Cent has stunned fans by announcing a planned 2008 album could be his last studio release.

The In Da Club hitmaker admits he has two more albums and a possible Greatest Hits package planned under his current record contract and then he has no plans to release anything else.
He says, “I already recorded 10 tracks for my next album, Before I Self-Destruct, and that record will come out February 4th.So Curtis (is released) June 26th, (Before I Self-Destruct) February 4th… and then they’re gonna put out a greatest hits album but my album requirements are completed.”

Successful Rap Artist 50 Cent real name Curtis James Jackson is selling his 52 room Connecticut mansion that he has reportedly spent some 6million Dollars on in renovations. The house which was once owned by Boxer Mike Tyson was bought by 50cent in September 2003 for a cool 4.1 million Dollars.

The house benefits from its own Helicopter Pad and offers plenty of room covering 48,000 plus square feet.

50 Cent has been feeling the wrath of a Christian organisation calling for him to stop wearing crosses.
The rapper, famous for his bling attire, is being targeted by the group – named The Resistance - because of his provocative lyrics and actions and what they claim are the negative connotations tied to wearing the jewellery.

Group founder Mark Dice said: “50 Cent is not Christian and if you listen to his lyrics it becomes clear that he is more of a Satanist than anything. He is defaming the cross and committing blasphemy by wearing it while he raps about killing people for no reason…I think a large diamond studded platinum satanic pentagram would be a little more fitting.”

If Entertainment Weekly really wants to be “the most comprehensive guide” to popular culture out there, it might consider enrolling executive editor Lori Majewski in a remedial course on hip-hop hagiography.Majewski, who was hired at EW last September after previous gigs at Us Weekly and Teen People, committed a cringe-inducing gaffe at a private advance listening session for 50 Cent’s forthcoming record two weeks ago, insiders say. The rapper was present, and at one point he told Majewski of the formative role that Run DMC cofounder and hip-hop legend Jam Master Jay, aka Jason Mizell, played in his career. To which Majewski responded, “Do you still talk to him?”

If so, it would be one spectacular conversation, seeing as how Mizell was famously gunned down in his Queens studio in 2002, as readers of EW’s In Memoriam 2002 issue will recall.

According to a source familiar with the conversation, Fiddy answered Majewski’s question by standing up and walking out of the room without saying another word.

Yvette Gayle, a rep for 50 Cent who was present at the meeting, confirms that Majewski asked the question, but insists that Majewski had simply been confused by 50 Cent’s lengthy and complicated recounting of his business history with Mizell and his label, JMJ Records. “I don’t think that she knew they were specifically talking about Jam Master Jay,” Gayle says. “She wasn’t really coherent about who 50 Cent was talking about.” And Gayle denies that 50 Cent walked as soon as he realized that he had been speaking to an irretrievably white girl who lives in New Jersey and doesn’t know the first thing about hip-hop. “He answered that Jam Master Jay had passed, and they finished their conversation for another 20 minutes,” Gayle says.

Majewski did not respond to an e-mail, and a rep for EW did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Robbie Williams is going to get his wish to cement his hip-hop credentials with a duet with rapper 50 Cent.

The American star says he’s keen to hook up with the British pop singer and develop his new found interest in hip-hop - no doubt picking up a fat cheque in this process.

He tells The Sun, “People should look forward to hearing 50 Cent and Robbie together. He’s keen to explore hip hop.

“He’s got a very distinctive voice and with the right song we could work well together.”

According to a report by top music website, allhiphop.com, well known rapper 50 Cent has bet $1 million dollars that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will win his upcoming bout with Oscar De La Hoya on May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

50 Cent is close friends with Mayweather, and plans to walk Floyd down to the ring on May 5 while performing his new single, “Straight to the Bank.”

“It will be great to walk Floyd to the ring for the biggest fight of his career,” 50 Cent said to allhiphop. “Fans will get a taste of my new song and then Floyd is going to show the world why he is the best in the business.”
